A Review of the New Fiat Sedici 2012

The first Fiat Sedici was released in 2006 and it underwent a major facelift in 2010. The 2012 model features some changes from the previous model. Some of the upgrades in the looks of the new Sedici include a new “Purple Rebel” hue, metallic trim around the fog lights, new alloy wheel designs, a new bumper and redesigned matte silver door mirrors. Other updates from the 2010 model include a new navigation system with a 5” touchscreen and updated fabric upholstery.

In a rather surprising way, Fiat chose not to make any mechanical updates for the 2012 model of the Sedici and thus the power and fuel consumption remained the same as in the 2010 version. The 2012 Fiat Sedici features however an interesting number of options, including USB connectivity and an innovative navigation system. A noticeable difference from the previous model is that the ESP is now offered as standard.

The basic version of the new Fiat Sedici features a 1.6 liter 16v engine, which delivers 120 hp. If you are interested in the diesel version, this is driven by the 2.0 liter Multijet engine that is able to generate 135 hp.

Other updates for the new Fiat Sedici 2012 are the completely revamped upholstery, a new CD/Mp3 player, window bag and USB connectivity coming as standard. Optional features include an audio system and 5-inch touch screen navigation. The car is a good option for those who are looking for a reliable and safe family car. The starting price for the new Fiat Sedici 2012 is £11, 500.
