Road Bull

Red Bull, F1 racing team and maker of drinks that 'give you wings', has joined forces with Infiniti and wants to start making road cars.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner said: 'Red Bull used to be known only as an energy drink company, but now it is recognised as an engineering team. It's a natural evolution for us to get involved in road car engineering.'

Business is already shaping up for Infiniti thanks to the tie up, helped in part by Sebastian Vettel having the word Infiniti emblazoned on the back of his car.

How a Red Bull road car would look is an intriguing one. Perhaps it'd be similar to the Renault Clio Williams hatchback, that came out in the nineties.

Infiniti seems determined to put its fingers in as many pies as possible, with an electric car in the pipeline and also intends to get its hands dirty in the hybrid market, in partnership with Daimler.
