Standard Model of Ducati Streetfighter Now Available in UK
The standard version of the Ducati Streetfighter makes its debut in the UK market after being unveiled at the MCN London Motorcycle Show. Until now, only the full-spec S version was available in the UK.
The standard Streetfighter doesn’t have the Öhlins suspension, the Marcheshini custom wheels, and some other expensive parts but the bike still retains the core mechanical rig of the higher spec S version.
The Bolognese superbike is a combination of state-of-the-art tech, and naked bike design that has made Ducati every bike enthusiast’s dream motorcycle. Rocketing with 155hp of zoom, the Ducati L-Twin engine sits in a stripped down, super light bike that packs more oomph for its weight than any other rival bike. The Streetfighter’s Testastretta Evoluzione 1098cc powertrain makes 85lb-ft of heavyweight torque, and the entire soul of the bike is housed in Ducati’s trademark Trellis frame. All this power screeches to a full stop on Monobloc brakes.
The full-specs version has the sophisticated Öhlins suspension, lightweight forged wheels, and carbon fibre fittings, and the proprietary Ducati Traction Control —specially designed for street use.
At roughly 9,500 GBP only, the Streetfighter might as well be the benchmark for power naked bikes.
