The latest Mini Cooper cars are wowing everybody!

The Mini Cooper has been a style icon since the 1960s, transfixing a public who fell for its curvy charms and beautiful appearance. The latest mini cooper cars have brought this car right back to the forefront of design thanks to some amazing features. In this blog, we'll be taking a look at what you can expect if you decide to splash out on this excellent car.

With the Rover group breaking up in the year 2000, it looked like the Mini brand was doomed. It took a last minute intervention from BMW to step in and relaunch the brand. The German ingenuity has seen some classy new features added to the Mini to bring it bang up to date.

You'll enjoy a a 120 metric horsepower (88 kW) 1.6-litre Prince engine incorporating BMW's Valvetronic infinitely variable valve timing if you take the plunge, which takes the car from 0–100 km/h in a claimed 9.1 seconds (0-60 mph: 8.5 seconds). Fuel economy is impressive too: 48.7 miles per imperial gallon.

The Mini enjoys a sterling safety record and reputation, gaining the exalted "Five Star" status in the Euro NCAP tests. Breakdown statistics reported by the German Automobile Club in May 2010 placed the Mini at the top of the small car class in respect of the low break-down rates achieved for cars aged between 0 and four years - another reason why it makes a safe investment.
