Volvo takeover

If you asked a 100 people what they thought when they heard the word Volvo, our survey would say ‘Boxy but good’. And they’d be right. The UK car staple is justifiably criticised for being a boring drive for parents with 2.4 kids.

However, the Swedish company are in a state of transition with a takeover bid from Geely Holding Group ever nearing completion (estimate May 2010). To help the bid build up steam the CEO of Volvo China, a Mr. Alexander Klose has waded in insisting the takeover will be of ‘great benefit to the automaker’.

This could be because Volvo manufacturing in China is expected to go through the roof. As long as no roofs were hurt in the making of these cars, that's ok by us.....
